Senior Frontend Engineer

Location: Remote within Europe (Portugal, Ukraine, or Romania preferred)

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the development of modern, high-performance user interfaces for our fintech platform. You will play a key role in shaping the user experience, improving frontend architecture, and ensuring our applications are scalable, accessible, and maintainable.

You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers in a small, agile team environment.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and ship user-facing features using React and TypeScript

• Build responsive, accessible, and performant UIs

• Translate Figma designs into production-ready interfaces

• Integrate frontend applications with backend services (REST/GraphQL)

• Define clean data contracts and error-handling conventions

• Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code using Jest and Cypress

• Optimize performance and improve frontend architecture

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to frontend best practices

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with React and TypeScript

• Solid understanding of modern frontend architecture and component patterns

• Experience integrating REST APIs and/or GraphQL

• Strong knowledge of performance optimization and accessibility standards

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress

• Ability to take ownership of features end-to-end

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech or regulated product environments

• Experience building complex dashboards or financial interfaces

• Familiarity with AWS-based deployments
