Our IT Support Specialist will be a part of our R+D team. This role is based in Bucharest, working on a hybrid basis.

What you’ll do
Employee Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including account setup, hardware provisioning, and software configuration.
Employee Offboarding: Manage the offboarding process ensuring secure data removal, account deactivation, and hardware retrieval.
Access Management: Control user access to systems and applications, ensuring compliance with security policies.
User Assistance: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Software Management: Install, configure, and maintain software applications, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
Incident Management: Handle IT incidents and service requests, documenting issues, and following through to resolution.
Domains and Certificates Management: Manage domain registrations and SSL certificates, ensuring they are current and secure.
Hardware Management and Troubleshooting: Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware and peripherals.
Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage backup solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability in case of disasters.
Cost Control: Monitor and manage IT expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
You'll thrive in this role if:
Proven experience in IT support and systems administration.
Knowledge of network infrastructure, IP addressing, and subnetting. Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting network devices and protocols.
Skilled in implementing firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies. Ensures network security and data integrity.
Provides user support for workstation setup, software installation, and VPN configuration. Able to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) to automate tasks and ensure system consistency.
You are proactive and take ownership of your work.
You excel at problem-solving and continuously seek to improve processes.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, valuing team input and ensuring alignment with project goals
Experience using Google Workspace, ideally in an administrative role.
